Rebecca "Becka" Downey is the anaweir mother of Jack Swift, the sister of Linda Downey , and the aunt of Seph McCauley.
History[]
Not much is known about Becka's childhood. She is very close to her sister Linda, an enchanter. Until the end of The Dragon Heir, Becka did not know of her sister's powers. Later in her life, she met and married Thomas Swift. Together, they had a son named Jack. It is revealed that she and her husband later divorced, but it is not mentioned when or why.
At some point in her life, Becka went to law school and became a proffessor at Trinity College.
